We’re proud to continue our collaboration with Distillerie Mariana and introduce a brand-new gin, specially crafted to celebrate the 2025 Atlantic salmon fly fishing season.
Carefully distilled in Trois-Rivières, this special edition gin captures the raw essence of northern landscapes and pays tribute to the fragile beauty of our rivers. With notes of juniper berry, Labrador tea, wintergreen, wild berries, and dune pepper, Gin Hooké – L’appel de la rivière strikes a perfect balance between the wild and the refined. It conjures up the scent of conifers, the feel of boots in cold water, and the stories shared by the poolside.
The inspiration behind this gin came from our most recent days spent on the river—long hours under the sun, casting lines, changing flies, exploring the shoreline, and sharing the thrill of every bite—ours or a friend. We wanted to create a product that captures all those magical moments. In other words, we bottled the perfect day, so we could relive it again and again.
For this second edition of the Gin Hooké x Distillerie Mariana, we once again collaborated with Quebec artist Alexandre L’Heureux to illustrate the bottle. A passionate artist and seasoned fly angler, Alex has nurtured his drawing talent since childhood. His unique style—both imaginative and strikingly realistic—brings larger-than-life scenes to vivid detail. The Atlantic salmon adorning this new bottle is no exception; his deep knowledge of this mythical species shines through in every line.
The new gin is officially available as of today at the SAQ and online. It’s the perfect time to get your hands on this unique bottle—before it’s gone!
