This is a superior merino base layer

This is a superior merino base layer. I have various brands in my winter and camping rotation from MEC, Smartwool, and Icebreaker. This one from Hooké is the softest by a mile. Fits well, colour is a favourite, and does the job managing both cold and warm environments. Like most merino it can go through tough use without picking up odours.

Now remind me in two years to compare how it wears vs. my other ones. Always the toughest test for merino.

Quality.

Don't forget to wash it in cold water and let it air dry. Keep it away from the dryer or it'll shrink and wrinkle.

I air dried mine and it initially shrunk, but only slightly - in fact it made it fit better. Treat Merino wool well and it'll return the favour.

I'm 5' 11" tall and slim with a beer belly. A medium in all Hookè tops tends to fit me perfectly. I look forward to more colour variety. Fingers crossed for a multicam Merino wool.

Exactly what you want in a merino wool t-shirt. Incredibly lightweight, wicks sweat like nothing, and is a great cooler. Definitely will be purchasing another one. I'm 5'9 about 200-210 pounds and a large fits very well
