M's Seasonal Lightweight Insulated Hood Jacket

Excellent manteau

It’s my go to light puffer jacket. Layers easily under a shell, and looks great as a standalone jacket.

Exactly what I was looking for. Very well insulated, packable, repels water, functional for fishing and paddling. Comfortable down to 0C Deg with just a T shirt underneath.

I am 5’9, 190 lbs. 42 chest, 34 waist. I got a medium and this coat fits perfectly. Roomy enough for base layer + long sleeve. If you want to wear this over a hoodie, probably want to go up a size, but my intention is to wear under my shell for really foul weather, so it’s an excellent fit.

I’ve been wearing this jacket almost daily for 2 years and it’s still going strong. Very little signs of wear and still remains a warm yet light jacket or layer during the colder months. Will buy another eventually.

Il ne conviendra pas cependant quand les températures seront plus près du 0 degrés C. Je suis très satisfait de la coupe et de la grandeur, qui est parfaite pour moi.

I'm 6'6", 180lbs and my XL fits great. Large enough to fit a sweater underneath but not too large that I'm 'swimming' in it. I've used it for early mornings during summer camping and it's cozy. Not heavy enough for a -30 day in winter, but perfect for spring, fall, and colder summer days.

Just a great lightweight insulated coat. Cool fall/spring temps, ideal! Not super baggy, fits to size.

This jacket is quite lightweight and serves well as a good layering piece or as a standalone. The fit is standard -- not baggy nor too close -- so you can easily wear this over shirt or light sweater. If you want to layer this over a hoodie, maybe consider going one size up from your normal sizing. The chest pocket is atypically large and the handpockets are generous. The ability to fold up into it's own pocket is a great feature as it allows you to bundle it up neatly and throw into your bag as a backup layer. This jacket compares very closely to the Fjallraven Keb Padded in terms of sizing and insulative qualities (but the Keb has no water repellent coating), but the Hooke is only 2/3 the price! The only negative is the stretch cuffs which are basic and nonadjustable.

I’ve been eyeing a jacket in this category for a long time, but refused to pay $359CDN for a nano puff with a hood. This Hooke seasonal jacket has not let me down.

Simple and clean design, lightweight but still warm and breathable, packs neatly into a pouch when needed, and made in Canada by our besties in QC.

Léger, mais beaucoup plus chaud que prévu. Les poches profondes sont idéales pour réchauffer vos mains et vos objets à l'intérieur, vous n'avez pas à vous soucier de leur chute. Conforme à la taille et idéal pour la pêche d'automne sous vos cuissardes.

Nice fit, warm. Big inside pocket. Nice design.
