During their stay, the guys are accompanied by Élie Merlin, with whom they have the chance to fish three rivers: the Saint-Jean, York, and Dartmouth. A young guide specializing in exploration trips, Élie knows the best fishing spots depending on the unique conditions of each river.
Next, the hosts take a canoe trip down the Saint-Jean River, accompanied by two experienced guides, Dave and Gaétan. Afterward, they meet Jean-Paul Duguay, who has been fishing in Gaspé for over 50 years and knows the York River intimately.
To conclude the adventure in style, the guys head to the Dartmouth River Falls, a section renowned for its massive salmon — where Fred is about to catch the biggest salmon of his life!
