CAMP LOUIS-JOLIETTE: RUPERT RIVER

CAMP LOUIS-JOLIETTE: RUPERT RIVER - Hooké

After a short 45-minute flight, Derek and Fred Campbell land at Camp Louis-Joliette, located in the vast Baie-James region. Guided by several Indigenous guides, the two friends set out in search of four iconic species: walleye, northern pike, brook trout, and lake trout. Throughout their stay, they are immersed in Cree culture, learning more about the traditions and way of life of this Indigenous nation. Despite sometimes challenging fishing conditions, they leave Baie-James with beautiful memories, new stories to tell, and a deep respect for the land and its people.
