My husband absolutely loves these trousers! Definitely buy one waist size down from usual for the best fit, and they do have quite a long inseam so you may want to get them hemmed if you're shorter (though it does cover boots nicely for cold weather). This is the second pair I've bought him, the first being the charcoal grey colour - both are beautifully soft, warm, wind resistant, and his original pair (now over a year old with heavy use) shows no signs of wear. The pockets are a great utilitarian size, but the overall look is very tidy; you wouldn't wear them to a formal event, but they're smart enough for any casual outing without looking like you just wandered out of the woods...even if you did!

Amazing outdoor/hunting pants.
I’ve had these pants for a while now, and they’ve become my go-to for hunting and most of my outdoor days in Alberta. They work perfectly with my layering system and handle a wide range of conditions.
The only improvement I’d love to see is an alternate version with targeted waterproofing—something durable on the knees, the seat, and about 12” up from the cuffs. A waxed canvas panel or soft-shell reinforcement would make them the perfect middle ground between these and a full waterproof shell. It’d be especially useful for stand hunters who spend long hours sitting or kneeling in damp terrain.
